Delicious little sausages snugly wrapped in bacon, with the addition of a little drizzle of honey for a sticky, irresistible twist!
What do I need?
- 15 streaky bacon rashers
- 30 cocktail sausages
- 2 tbsp honey
How do I make it?
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Take a rasher of bacon and gently stretch it out, then slice it in half widthways.
- Wrap one piece of bacon around each cocktail sausage, ensuring they are snugly enveloped. Place each wrapped sausage on a baking tray, seam-side down. Repeat for the remaining sausages and bacon.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the bacon is delightfully crisp.
- Drizzle the honey over the sausages and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute (beware, the honey will be very hot). Carefully transfer them to a serving plate and enjoy your delectable pigs in a blanket!
