This quick and easy peach cobbler requires just four ingredients and can be whipped up in minutes—no milk needed! With a few pantry staples and Goulburn Valley peaches, this simple cobbler transforms into a sweet, bubbling dessert like magic.
What do I need?
- 1400 g Goulburn Valley peaches in juice (2 jars)
- 300 g self-raising flour
- 340 g white sugar, divided
- 225 g butter, divided and melted
How do I make it?
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a 23 centimetre baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Drain the peaches, reserving 60 millilitres of the juice. Spread the peach slices and the reserved juice evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine the self-raising flour, 280 grams of the sugar, and 170 grams (12 tablespoons) of the melted butter. Mix until it forms a crumbly, streusel-like consistency.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the peaches—don’t stir them together.
- Drizzle the remaining 55 grams (4 tablespoons) of melted butter over the top of the crumble. Sprinkle the remaining 60 grams of sugar evenly over the cobbler.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbling.
- Serve warm with your favourite ice cream.
