A perfect, easy-to-make party snack with a healthy crunch!
What do I need?
- 1 bunch kale
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
How do I make it?
- Preheat the oven to 130°C.
- Wash and thoroughly dry one bunch of kale, ensuring the leaves are completely dry. Moisture on the leaves can result in soggy kale chips.
- Remove the ribs from the kale and place the leaves in a large bowl. Drizzle the kale with olive oil, then sprinkle with ground coriander, chilli flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Using your hands, rub the oil into the leaves, evenly distributing the spices.
- Spread the kale out in an even layer on 2 baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes, then rotate the pan, flipping any pieces that are starting to look crispy.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes, closely watching the pan during the last 7-8 minutes to prevent over-browning. Allow the kale chips to cool to room temperature before serving.
