Caramelised apples, kissed with cinnamon, are heaped on fluffy pancakes, drizzled with maple syrup, and topped with ice cream.
What do I need?
- 6 Marcel’s Happy Pancakes
- 2 apples
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp Steeves Maple Syrup
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Extra Steeves Maple Syrup to drizzle
How do I make it?
- Cut the apples into quarters, cut out the cores, and slice each quarter into 3 – 4 wedges.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- When butter is bubbling add the apples and cook for 5 minutes until tender and beginning to brown, turning several times during cooking.
- Add the Steeves Maple Syrup and cook until caramelised and sticky, about 30 seconds.
- Spoon candied apples onto pancakes, and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle some more Steeves Maple Syrup. Enjoy!
