Pigs in a Blanket

Delicious little sausages snugly wrapped in bacon, with the addition of a little drizzle of honey for a sticky, irresistible twist!

What do I need?

  • 15 streaky bacon rashers
  • 30 cocktail sausages
  • 2 tbsp honey

How do I make it?

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Take a rasher of bacon and gently stretch it out, then slice it in half widthways.
  3. Wrap one piece of bacon around each cocktail sausage, ensuring they are snugly enveloped. Place each wrapped sausage on a baking tray, seam-side down. Repeat for the remaining sausages and bacon.
  4. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the bacon is delightfully crisp.
  5. Drizzle the honey over the sausages and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute (beware, the honey will be very hot). Carefully transfer them to a serving plate and enjoy your delectable pigs in a blanket!
