This non-alcoholic punch isn’t just for kids; it’s a delightful fusion of herbal tea, fruit juices, and spices, perfect for anyone craving the warmth and spice of a hot, mulled drink on a chilly day.

What do I need?

  • 2 bags of hibiscus rosehip tea
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of apple juice
  • ½ cup of orange juice
  • 2 cinnamon quills
  • 6 cloves
  • 4 orange wedges, to garnish
  • Honey to taste

How do I make it?

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and steep the tea bags, spices, and lemon slices for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags when done.
  2. Return the pot to the stove, add juices and sweetener (if using), and heat on low to medium-low for 8 to 10 minutes. Avoid bringing to a boil; aim to heat the drink through and allow the spices to continue steeping.
  3. Ladle the punch into heatproof glasses or mugs. Garnish with orange wedges. Add honey if the drink isn’t sweet enough.
