A deliciously gooey twist on a classic favourite—perfect as a side, snack, or party platter. This jazzed-up garlic bread is loaded with herbs, cheese and buttery goodness, and ready in minutes.
What do I need?
- 1 pack store-bought garlic bread
- (sliced lengthways or individual slices)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2–3 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1–2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp softened butter
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- Pinch of dried oregano
How do I make it?
- Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced (or 200°C conventional).
- Place the garlic bread on a baking tray, garlic-side up.
- In a bowl, combine the mozzarella, parsley, Parmesan, butter, garlic, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Spoon the cheesy herb mixture evenly over the bread.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
