Incredibly easy and perfect for any special occasion.
What do I need?
- 250 g Shale Point Brie
- or Triple Cream Brie Cheese
- 8 walnuts, roughly chopped
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 sprigs rosemary, finely chopped
- Salt
- Pistachios, to garnish
To serve
- Crackers or crunchy French bread
How do I make it?
- Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Line a baking dish or tray with baking paper. Place the Shale Point Brie or Triple Cream Brie on the prepared dish and bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese begins to ooze but not melt.
- Meanwhile, heat a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat. Add the walnuts and toast, tossing occasionally, for 5-6 minutes or until golden.
- Pour the honey over the nuts and stir to combine. Remove from the heat.
- To serve, transfer the baked brie to a serving plate and spoon over the honeyed nuts. Sprinkle with rosemary and a pinch of salt (if using).
- Garnish with pistachios and serve with either crackers or crunchy French bread for scooping.
