This classic Bacon-Wrapped Dijon Roast Turkey Breast has a twist – a sweet and tangy mustard sauce.

What do I need?

  • 1 kg boneless, skinless rolled turkey breast
  • 1/3 cup raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp MasterFoods Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon
  • Fresh chopped parsley, to serve

How do I make it?

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C.
  2. Place the turkey breast on a plate or board and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the raw sugar, olive oil, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well to form a paste.
  4. Rub the raw sugar mixture all over the turkey breast, coating it well on all sides.
  5. Place the turkey breast in a shallow baking dish or roasting pan. Wrap the bacon slices around the turkey breast, tucking them into each other to secure. Ensure the turkey is fully wrapped.
  6. Lightly brush the top of the bacon-wrapped turkey breast with any remaining raw sugar mixture.
  7. Roast at 170°C for about 90 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the deepest part of the breast reads 75°C.
  8. Remove the turkey breast from the oven and cover it with aluminium foil (leave it in the pan). Let it rest for approximately 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
  9. Slice and serve, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
