This strawberry salad recipe is so fresh and delicious!
What do I need?
For the dressing:
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1½ tbsp finely chopped fresh onion
- ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ½ cup Cobram Estate Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
For the salad:
- 250 g washed spinach
- 350 g strawberries, stems removed and sliced
- ⅓ cup crumbled blue cheese
- ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Edible flowers, to garnish (optional)
How do I make it?
- Combine honey, sesame seeds, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, olive oil, and cider vinegar in a blender. Blend for about a minute until smooth. Refrigerate for several hours to allow the flavours to meld.
- In a large bowl, toss the spinach with the prepared dressing until evenly coated.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the spinach.
- Scatter the crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and edible flowers (if using) over the salad.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh, vibrant flavours of this summer salad.
