
Pizza Bagels
The fastest way to pizza night!
What do I need?
- 4 bagels, everything style, halved
- ½ cup pizza sauce or tomato passata
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup chopped bacon
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
How do I make it?
- Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the chopped bacon in a frying pan over medium heat and cook for 3–4 minutes,
or until golden and just crisp. Drain on
paper towel. - Arrange the halved bagels cut side up on the prepared tray. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce over each half, making sure to go all the way to the edges. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella, then top with the cooked bacon.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the edges of the bagels are golden. If you like extra crispy tops, switch to grill mode for the last minute or two.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
