By participating in Spano’s IGA 32nd Birthday Giveaway promotion, you agree to the following conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1.2 Entry into the competition is available by:

1. Shopping at any Spano’s IGA store in Queensland, including Stanthorpe, Warwick, Robina, Gatton, Nerang, and Mermaid Waters.
2. Purchasing at least one product from participating brands (brands are listed on the spanos.com.au/birthday website).
3. Spending $40 or more (excluding gift cards, Lotto, cigarettes, tobacco products, and EPay) in a single transaction at any Spano’s IGA store.
4. Submitting a copy of the receipt via the online form on the spanos.com.au/birthday website, including your full name, valid email address, and phone number.

1.3 To be eligible for a second entry, entrants must have a registered IGA Rewards Membership Card, including their full name, valid email address, and phone number, and use the card during their transaction. To qualify for a second entry, the IGA Rewards Card must be registered and active before the transaction occurs.

1.4 Entry is automatic upon meeting the eligibility criteria and transaction requirements specified above.

1. WHO CAN ENTER?

2.1 Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over.

2.2 Employees of Spano’s IGA, their immediate families, associated agencies, and companies are not eligible to enter.

1. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The Spano’s IGA 32nd Birthday Giveaway promotion commences on Wednesday, 19 February 2025, at 6:00 am (AEST) and concludes on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, at 11:59 pm (AEST).

3.2 To enter, participants must:

1. Make a purchase of $40 or more in a single transaction (excluding tobacco, Lotto, phone recharge, gift cards, and EPay).
2. Purchase at least one product from participating brands, including Coca-Cola, Smith’s Chips, Peters, Steggles, Mondelez, Arnott’s, Primo, Simplot, and Kellogg’s (a full list of brands is available on the spanos.com.au/birthday website).
3. Submit their entry online at spanos.com.au/birthday by uploading a copy of their receipt and providing their contact details, including full name, valid email address, and phone number.

3.3 To qualify for a second entry, participants must meet the conditions in 3.2 and scan their IGA Rewards Card during the transaction (the card must be registered in the participant’s name).

3.4 Multiple entries are permitted, with one entry per eligible transaction.

3.5 The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or incomplete contact information provided by participants.

1. PRIZE WINNERS

4.1 The total prize pool is valued at $30,000 AUD, which includes:

• Major Prizes: 2 x $10,000 gift cards.
• Minor Prizes: 10 x $1,000 IGA gift cards.

4.2 Major prizes will be drawn on 18 March 2025 at Spano’s IGA Head Office. Winners will be contacted via phone and/or email using details from their submitted contact details or IGA Rewards profile.

4.3 Minor prizes will be drawn progressively throughout the competition period and winners will be notified promptly via phone and/or email.

4.4 Prizes must be claimed within 7 business days of the draw. If unclaimed, a redraw will occur for unclaimed prizes on 1 April 2025 at Spano’s IGA Head Office.

4.5 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within a reasonable timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and the promoter is not obligated to provide a substitute prize.

1. UNCLAIMED PRIZES

5.1 Any unclaimed prizes will be subject to a redraw, to take place on Tuesday**, 1 April 2025**, at Spano’s IGA Head Office at 10:00 am (AEST).

5.2 Winners of any redraw will be contacted via their registered details and announced on Spano’s IGA’s website and social media pages within 7 business days.

1. PRIZE CONDITIONS

6.1 Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

6.2 Additional costs, such as travel expenses to collect prizes, are the responsibility of the winners.

6.3 Winners agree to participate in promotional activities, including interviews and photography. Spano’s IGA may use this content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

6.4 Gift cards must be used within 36 months of issuance and are redeemable at Spano’s IGA stores only. They are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer.

1. NO LIABILITY

7.1 Spano’s IGA is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during participation or prize redemption, including but not limited to:

1. a) Errors, omissions, or interruptions in the competition.
2. b) Lost or misdirected entries or communication.
3. c) Technical failures related to the competition platform or entry process.

7.2 In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Spano’s IGA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the promotion.

7.3 The Promoter’s liability for any loss or damage arising from the promotion is limited to the value of the prizes awarded.

7.4 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information or breaches these terms and conditions.

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

8.1 Spano’s IGA collects personal information to conduct the promotion. Entrants’ personal data will only be shared with third parties directly involved in prize fulfilment or as required by law.

8.2 By entering, entrants consent to their details being used for marketing purposes, unless they opt out. Entrants may withdraw their consent for marketing communications at any time by contacting Spano’s IGA via [email protected]
